About Lindsay (she/ her)

I'm a Mexican American new and young adult fantasy fiction writer from Phoenix, Arizona. When I write, I think about the "magic" of survival: looking for and honoring resources, including food, energy, and relationships. This has been particularly healing for my relationship with food and binge eating.

I'm also passionate about longterm intergenerational healing through routines, craft, & found family. I've been a licensed trauma healing therapist and clinical social worker since 2016.

Even though storytelling, reading, & writing, were central growing up, it wasn't until 2020 that I was able to pursue craft research & development on young adult fantasy fiction manuscript writing. I love exploring the relationships and motivations of the casts of my fantasy fiction plots. I'm super thankful anytime I get to witness an aspect of a story unfold ✨ I hope, if the right manuscript agrees, to publish one day.
