New Beginnings

The photo above is of the Ace of Wands: new beginnings. I pulled this card a month or so ago but just pulled it again today. With Jupiter at the North Node in my 3rd house (Taurus) of writing & communication, this seems appropriate <3

Recommitments to manuscript writing:

I'm not going to lie, when you are writing your manuscript, it is easy to get caught up in the social media aspect of it, or your blog or your website, talking about it, vs. actually doing it. I am currently struggling with getting back into my manuscript when I've been focusing on my writer's website, documenting my journey. I think it's also easy to get stuck here because the "returns" are quicker- I feel satisfaction when a blog post is posted, for example, which is much easier & quicker to achieve than a completed manuscript.

Also, I've just hit some points in my plot that are kind of painful. So I'm feeling that </3 Some cycle breaker stuff is coming up.

Here's an affirmation for June that I will be repeating, as I recommit to my manuscript and writing:

I release old powerlessness

No one is going to write this story for me, no one can write this story for me <3

In case you missed it: Fiction Novel Writing Themes for Cycle Breakers: Letting it Land

In regards to craft/ fiction novel writing for cycle breakers, this month, I talked about a theme I call "letting it land." The full blog post can be found here.

This concept can be tricky but it's one of my favorite forms of magic. It's tricky because it involves some level of trust, and as a cycle breaker, that can be a tough subject.

Like water and fire to air and earth... the story you want to write has got to land with the reader. It's got to translate from your dreams & your heart to the page.

Fiction novel writing is a beautiful blend between providing just enough structure, as a writer, and allowing the freedom for the reader to fill in for themselves.

"Letting it land," is what I call it when I've done my due diligence (as a writer and in everyday conversation with others, family, really...) to tune into the reader/ the other person when I am expressing myself, and then that's it ✨ The magic will move as it will from there.

Say Hi!
